My husband and I arrived to NB General with some concerns regarding my pregnancy due to us already losing a previous pregnancy 1 year prior. We were directed to the maternity and labor department and Carol was our nurse from moment one and stayed with us as long after her shift permitted her.
Carol was so compassionate towards us and cared for me in such a beautiful and gentle way. We lost our daughter the next day due to preterm labor and Carol was there that night and helped with the pain and mourning my husband and I were going through. Carol showed us so much love and passion for what she does and I received the warmest hug by her and she made me feel like my pain was her pain also.
Her heart is so full of love and she radiates her passion through her care. I hope she is there for when I deliver my child in the near future.
