Any adult child who is the caregiver of an adored elderly parent can relate to my recent experience. My wee momma, 95 years young, recently suffered her fourth compression fracture of the spine. Next, she developed a nasty fungal rash that tormented her. Nurse Carol was relentless in treating Mom immediately. She contacted the Mercy Wound Nurse, the Harmony Cares Doctor, and texted me several times with directions on how to apply Mom's medicine. Carol visited us at 8:00 AM many mornings, offering us skilled compassion. My family feels blessed to have Carol as part of our family.
