This year 's DAISY Faculty Award Winner was Carole Ferrari. Her performance is exemplary and she role models professional behavior along with dedicated commitment to students. She has a passionate devotion to developing students who will turn into leaders in nursing and is admired by her fellow faculty members for her ability to go the extra mile with committee work. In addition, even though it is not mandatory in her job description she has presented for the last three years at the Quality and Safety in Nursing (QSEN) national conference. Her passion and enthusiastic teaching, service and innovation within the department make Carole Ferrari the DAISY Faculty Awardee of 2016.
