As a patient recovering from surgery, you are vulnerable and in need of help. Carole showed a great amount of compassionate care. I was trying to walk in the hallway several days after surgery for cancer. I lost control of my bowel. She reassured me, comforted me as I panicked and cried with embarrassment. Carole turned this situation into a step towards healing and recovery.
