Carolina Gomez, RN

Carolina is a caring and compassionate nurse. She is very infection-cautious. Whenever she gives me chemotherapy medication, she is very careful in dealing with them and detailed in explaining them to me. She went over and beyond ways to comfort me when the side effects of chemotherapy kicked in and stayed with me until I felt better emotionally and psychologically. Just like what I heard from their manager during rounds, they always treat their patients like their own family members; Carolina did more than that. She treated me like her own mother, and I felt like she was part of my family when I was in their unit. She took her time to listen to me and tried her best to calm me down whenever I felt anxious and always came fast when I called her. When I was in their unit, whenever I saw her, it made my day, and trusting that everyone would do the same as Carolina did to me. She is my hope and a blessing to me. I hope she gets recognized more with my simple notes to her. Thank you.
