During a brief (but intense) stay for us, we encountered a cardiac care special nurse. My husband was moved from the E.R. to be observed overnight on 3rd floor. Caroline was compassionate, caring, and professional. She communicated well with our daughter, who is a P.A. She discussed data and answered every questions and thoughts for his specific care. We felt assured that Caroline had our backs (as my husband’s heart continued to be irregular). My daughter, who has been in healthcare for over 20 years, was impressed. Caroline was instrumental in having him moved to CCC for more in-depth monitoring, which eased our minds. The next day, my husband did, indeed, receive, through the skilled hands of the doctor, a pacemaker. We felt that Caroline’s proactive request helped facilitate a speedy remedy and recovery.
