Carolina Reyes, ASN, RN

A critically ill neonate was decompensating quickly. Carol helped the family bond with their dying infant and helped the mother hold the infant. The family and Carol quickly bonded. It was clearly visible that the family and Carol shared this very real human experience together. I know that Carol was touched by this experience and that the family will forever remember Carol for how caring she was while their infant gained their angel wings.
