I had 9 broken ribs, a broken shoulder bone, and a collapsed lung after a biking accident. I was in a lot of pain and had been in the hospital for several days with no sign of PT. I really needed to move as my back hurt from lying still and each day expected PT to come and help me - as I was told they would come. Carolina could see I was distressed and so she took the time and helped me to get up out of bed and she taught me how to move my body to support myself with minimal pain. She took her time and explained how to hold my weight and move with care and balance. She walked me around the ward. She was so patient and kind. I am so grateful.
