Caroline noticed changes in this patient's status. She increased monitoring and alerted the providers immediately when the patient's status declined emergently. She helped transport the patient while running with the team to get the patient to the ICU. The increased monitoring and prompt alerts helped this patient survive.

We had a patient who went downhill fast, and I feel like if he had a different nurse, we would not have caught it as quickly. Caroline likely saved his life, and because of her constant and great care, his change was quickly recognized, and 51 minutes after her message to me regarding his instability, he was intubated, on pressors, and in the GI lab. I feel so thankful for her care. I love working with her, and I know that when we have patients together, they are always in the best of hands.
