Caroline has looked after me since I started my chemotherapy treatment in the summer of 2020. From my first oncology appointment, she has been by my side, supporting me and reassuring me in my treatment for Triple Negative Breast Cancer. Sitting in an oncologist's office for the first time is one of the scariest experiences of my life - Caroline was there to reassure me with the right balance of candour and practical support - and she has just made a massive difference to my experience over 18 months of treatment, that is still ongoing. She goes above and beyond her role, in order to ensure that connections are made, appointments happen, and to let me know the results of tests. I know that she will also be honest with me. My family and I have come to rely on her as an essential part of my support team in fighting this aggressive disease. She has so much experience and knowledge that she is able to draw on to make sense of the challenges and hurdles that I keep coming up against, and I get a huge amount of strength and positivity from the care that Caroline gives. Caroline Duignan is a credit to the fabulous team at the Arden Centre and represents all that is best about the dedicated staff at UHCW. Thank you.
