I am honored to commend a nurse whose compassion and professionalism made an incredibly vulnerable experience feel safe, dignified, and human.

During my hospital stay, I struggled with basic functions I had always taken for granted. There were multiple times when I was unable to use a urinal in time and ended up soiling myself. Those moments could have been deeply humiliating—but because of Caroline Pleune, they never were.

From the very beginning, they treated me with unwavering dignity and respect. There was no frustration, no judgment, and no change in tone—only calm reassurance and quiet efficiency. They approached every situation with kindness, helping me clean up while preserving my sense of self-worth. They spoke to me like a person, not a problem, and never made me feel like a burden.

What stood out most was their ability to normalize what I was going through. They anticipated my embarrassment and met it with empathy, often offering simple words of reassurance that carried immense weight in those moments. Caroline's presence turned what could have been shame-filled experiences into moments of care, trust, and even relief.

Thank you, Caroline, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
