Caroline started working in the clinic in December and has quickly become an integral part of not only the clinic, but also the Medical Group.

Caroline had only been working in the clinic for a few short weeks before being asked to assist with the Measles outbreak. She quickly jumped in to help our Infection Prevention team contact patients, notify them of their exposures, and explain the steps moving forward. Caroline didn't hesitate to help these patients receive the best care possible while trying to learn her new role as a clinic nurse.

Caroline takes the time to ensure her patients are receiving the best care possible. She recently reviewed lab results and was concerned by the trend. She contacted the patient's care facility to check on the patient. The care facility explained that the patient had not been feeling well. Caroline quickly consulted with the patient's provider, and they came to the conclusion that the patient needed to be evaluated in the ER. It was found that the patient had a drug-induced infection.

Due to Caroline's care for her patient and taking the time to look into it further, she prevented what could have been a much worse outcome. Caroline is a great example of the types of nurses we want working in our clinics.
