On behalf of me and my 8 siblings, we would like to nominate our mother's nurse Caroline. Our mother had a catastrophic illness and was med-flighted to BWH. Our mother is our world, and we were terrified of losing her. Today, our mom’s nurse Caroline helped lay our fears to rest giving us hope. Caroline was exceptional with her nursing care to our mother and to all of us as well. The communication was so comforting, as she kept us in the loop of everything that was going on with Mom. Our mother appeared more calm as well. It was as if she knew she was safe and sound. We are forever grateful to Caroline for her outstanding nursing practice. Many of my siblings are in the medical field and we know what it takes to give outstanding nursing care. I was a clinical instructor, I have over 30 years of nursing experience, and I am currently a nurse practitioner. Caroline is a rock star!
