Caroline exhibits many caring qualities that cause me to nominate her. Caroline's professionalism is just one area that stands out. Caroline exuded confidence and knowledge. I didn't question her judgment yet also felt heard and listened to. Caroline explained and monitored multiple areas of my recovery. From wound care to bladder voiding to pain management, Caroline stayed on top of it all. She included other staff in my care; respectfully instructing them on my care/needs and check-in on their follow-through.
Caroline was positive, personable, nurturing, and caring. She visited with me about recovery, answered my questions and took the time to hear my concerns, She encouraged me to be physically active and walked with me on the unit all the while conversing with me as a person, not a distraction. Caroline treated me like I was the most important person in her care. I have no doubt other patients received the same level of care. Caroline exhibited a special touch, she encouraged me. I felt safe and protected under her care.
