My husband and I entered your facility after discovering from the sheriff’s office our son was in an auto accident and was brought to Madigan emergently. We were trying to find our son with no luck and became emotional when we crossed paths with CPT Caroline Sunkle leaving work in the elevator. She overheard our frustration and desperation and took us to help find our son. She never left even when the first individual told us our son was not at the facility, she found someone else to assist us. I will never forget her kindness or her words expressing the true heartfelt willingness to help a complete stranger find their hurt child. She was a true gift sent to us from God at the exact moment to help us find our child in the ICU. A true testament of selfless service at its finest. She will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
