My dad is a patient at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood NJ and unfortunately is leaving soon to go into hospice.
Carolle was his nurse and I am so grateful for her kind, compassionate care not only for my dad but for me as well. She was very busy on the day I wanted to speak to her and I felt bad taking her time. She acted as if she had nothing else to do but talk to me. She sat with me, helped me understand my dad's situation, and most importantly made me feel better about the choices I needed to make.
She spoke with me not just as a medical professional but as a person. She made sure he was comfortable and that gave me peace of mind.
I have had many experiences with hospitals and hospital staff as my sister also has stage 4 cancer. I know what makes a nurse special. Carolle is special.
