October 2025 Honoree
Carolyn Boser, RN
I had gone to the emergency department in the middle of December a couple of years back, thinking that I had broken my wrist. When my blood pressure was taken in my left arm, Carolyn asked me, "How long have you had your artery clot?" To which I was amazed and told her I didn't know.
She proceeded to check my blood pressure again in my left arm and then my right. She told me that my blood pressure was very concerning and that I probably have a clot. She told the PA, who listened to her and convinced me to have things checked out.
Turns out I had a subclavian steal, which I had never heard of, and I had a stint placed. Carolyn is such a good, knowledgeable, kind nurse who saved my life. She is definitely my angel.

Thank you, Carolyn, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
