Carolyn has been my nurse since I’ve been here and stayed for 4 days. This woman has a heart of gold. She was on top of everything that needed to be done. She always greeted me with a smile and a soft good morning that always reminded me of my mom, so she in a way made me feel at home. Every time I would hit my call button she would be there, if the assistant nurse came I would ask for Carolyn and she within no time would come to my assistance. If I had a question she would answer it to her best knowledge and if she wasn’t for sure, she was not hesitant to go find out for me. She was always concerned about me when she came into my room. She would always ask me if I needed another warm blanket, if she needed to turn my lights off for me and she knew I was capable of walking and doing it myself but she was/is just a very compassionate person. She was always on time with my meds, and she would tell me every time what I was taking. She also takes very good care of herself. To me, this lady seems to care about her job and her patients. Also, during meal time when they would forget my Boost she made sure I had one within no time. She even noticed they gave me a chocolate Boost (which she knew I didn’t like) and did not hesitate to get me a different type. She really is a merciful, serene, generous human being. Norton Hospital, you all have an amazing nurse working for you all. She always had a positive mind and positive comments when I was feeling down! Thank you again!
