Carolyn Chalmers, RN

I am incredibly grateful for the exceptional care I received from Carolyn on 2 North during my stay. I was in significant pain from viral meningitis, and Carolyn went above and beyond during the night shifts to help me find relief and establish a comforting routine. She was always prompt with her check-ins and medications, consistently asking about my pain level and working diligently to keep it under control. With several family members in the medical field, including my wife, who is an inpatient nurse. I have seen firsthand what excellent nursing care looks like, and Carolyn truly exemplified it. She never cut corners, handled everything with care and precision, and made sure every aspect of my care was thoughtfully addressed. What stood out most, though, was her genuine and kind heart. Everything she did came from a place of compassion. One night she wasn't assigned to me, yet the next morning she stopped by my room just to check in and see how my night had gone. For the two nights she cared for me, it felt like an angel had walked into the room. Her calm presence and attentiveness made all the difference. She is a phenomenal nurse and a true asset to the profession.
