We spent two days in the hospital. Unfortunately, we have been hospitalized several times recently. It had been a week since we had seen Carolyn, and she was so genuinely happy to see us but sad under the conditions. Not only did she act as my nurse, but I was exhausted, and she not only covered me up in the recliner but seemed to be tucking me in. She never failed to ask me if I needed anything every time she came into the room. As a caregiver, that really makes you feel seen and valued. That is exactly how she made me feel. It would be amazing if I could have her as our nurse every time. She understands how my husband can be completely coherent and the next minute pulling out IVs. Never, never has she gotten mad or aggressive. I absolutely love her.
