Carolyn Rooney was the most compassionate nurse I have ever encountered. After a colostomy surgery, I was heartbroken and completely embarrassed. Carolyn took time to comfort me and helped me to completely understand my new changing body part. I had several problems and setbacks but Carolyn helped me every step of the way. She made sure I was comfortable with myself before moving on. I was a complete basket case until Carolyn took it upon herself to sit and explain everything I needed to know necessary to living with a colostomy. I owe her everything.
