Dr. Carolyn Sipes has more than 35 years of experience in nursing instruction, project management, nursing informatics, oncology, HIV/AIDS and critical care nursing. Dr. Sipes is an accomplished speaker, author, editor and reviewer of professional manuscripts. She has created and presented webinars for AACN on Nursing Informatics, presented and authored more than 15 scholarly presentations and publications nationally and internationally related to informatics competencies and a principle investigator for a technology tool development project to be presented at WorldCIST15 conference in 2015. She currently is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International, ANA, and volunteers for several other professional organizations. She is passionate and committed to helping students succeed in their career endeavors.
