Carolynruth is an amazing and caring soul! When she takes care of Mr. T. in the ICU, she takes care of him as if he is her own family. She makes sure he is regularly turned, and she does her best to communicate with him and meet all his needs. I was even surprised to see her make sure that he gets his regular oil rub down from head to toe, all to make sure he is comfy and clean while retaining his dignity during his prolonged stay in the hospital. Carolynruth quickly caught a potential skin problem, brought it up with the doctors, and arranged for orders to be placed. On top of that, she took it upon herself to educate the entire ICU staff on how to properly prevent and take care of wounds, and she advocated for him by collaborating with her nursing supervisors to make sure these interventions were followed to the T. She goes out of her way to care not only for Mr. T., but the rest of his family and loved ones as well. Carolynruth is awesome!!!
