I have worked with Carrie through normal times and through COVID, she gives her patients the attention they need and more. She treats everyone with so much respect and compassion. She is one of the best nurses I have had the pleasure of working with. When I see that I am working with her, it makes my day a bit brighter!

Carrie was recently caring for a very critical young lady in our unit for a while. The patient was very sick for a few weeks and subsequently dealt with depression. Our Director of Patient Experience and Carrie both came in at the same time (Carrie’s day off) to give the patient some well-deserved pampering. They came up with a plan, soaking the patient’s feet and painting her toenails. Carrie’s concern for her patients extends well beyond her scheduled shifts. She demonstrates our Core Values in all interactions with her patients. She is very deserving of this award and recognition.
