While my mother was a patient at Holston Valley Hospital, Carrie was her day shift nurse for 5 days, so our family got to know her very well.

Carrie was very professional and relayed to us all communications from the doctors as soon as they were received. She patiently answered our questions and explained the procedures to our family. Carrie was very efficient in her care for my mother and was pleasant, compassionate, and friendly to our family members despite being busy with other patients each day.

Carrie only relayed information to us that was factual – not their personal assumptions. She is to be commended for all of her conscientiousness and professionalism displayed at all times. It is because of Carrie that our family is so pleased with Holston Valley Hospital. She was wonderful while caring for my mother.
