Carrie is very professional, caring, and kind. As a patient, I was impressed with her knowledge of nursing. She pays attention to detail. If there is a problem, she takes the time to make it right. I saw her train a couple of new nurses; she takes the time to show them the right way to do things and why. She has a great way with patients. She explains things so they understand, answers any question, or finds the answer. She's very friendly and funny and she knows how to pick up someone's spirit when they are stressed or worried. A true professional in nursing and life.

Carrie, who was both a staff and a charge nurse during my tenure, helps pick me up when my spirits fall, starts a wicked IV, and works the Alaris equipment faster than lightning. Her humorous, but reality-based, style was a perfect complement to my kind of patient.
