April 2025 Honoree
Carrie Byman, BSN, RN
I ended up in the ER at the end of January. It was a whirlwind of tests, scans, and medications. After the ER, I was released to go to the 4th floor. This is where I met my angel, Carrie. She was so caring and attentive, and she explained things to me in a way I could understand. She treated me with respect & dignity. She would always stop by on her shift to see if I needed anything. I have never felt so cared for in my life. She left me with hope & understanding that a TIA is just a warning & that I could get better. I've had many hospital stays in my life, but never a nurse like Carrie to take care of me. You have a gem amongst you.
Thank you, Carrie, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
