My 88-year-old mother had to be taken to the hospital on Thanksgiving afternoon. While no one wants to be in the hospital on Thanksgiving, we were grateful that Carrie was on duty and helped us throughout our visit. Carrie was empathetic to our situation and treated all of us with dignity and respect. She was attentive to our needs throughout our stay and did her best to keep us informed. The kindness and compassion that she showed my mother was unparalleled. The good news is that my mom was released and Carrie even escorted us outside to ensure my mom got into the car safely. Carrie's overall bedside manner and professionalism earn her this DAISY Award.
