February 2026 Honoree
Carrie Dannar, LPN
My 13-year-old daughter had a cyst removed from her tailbone in early July that had stopped healing. We were referred to the Wound Clinic. From the very first day we walked into the office, Carrie was warm and welcoming and built an immediate relationship with us.
My daughter was nervous, embarrassed, and experiencing some anxiety because of where the wound was located. Carrie was incredibly compassionate. She took the time to truly get to know our daughter. She showed genuine interest and had conversations about the things she enjoyed. She asked about school, her hobbies, and her nails, and she truly took the time to get to know her as both a person and a patient.
It made all the difference in the world in her healing and recovery. Every visit was the same with Carrie: welcoming, warm, compassionate, caring, and always commending her on her healing journey.
As a mom, it was so heartwarming and comforting to know our daughter trusted her and felt comfortable.
