As someone who has been in and out of hospitals a lot over the past 20 years, Carrie is at the top when it comes to making sure that her patient is looked after. She took the time to explain everything that I had questions about. If I needed her help she was right there. When my sugar dropped to 50 she was right there and stayed with me until we were able to work together and get it up to 113. Later that day my B/P dropped to 80/40 and she reacted the same way, staying with me and calling the doctor and having him come in to check on me, making some changes in my medications. Carrie made time to make sure I understood what, how, and why each medication was changed. Then she kept coming into my room to check on me and see how I was doing, making sure I was comfortable and that I understood everything. Everything was much easier with her being my nurse. Carrie also made sure I had a B/P monitor before going home. In my opinion, Carrie Davis would make a good role model, or leader, in training new people as they are hired. She sure didn't have to but in the days to follow, Carrie stopped by my room to check up and make sure I had all the information I needed for when I went home. Watching her work alongside her co-workers was like watching a well-oiled machine working. I would like to say just one more thing, it has been nice to be around her and see that smile of hers during the busy and slow time.
