Carrie acted quickly, maturely, and appropriately during a critical emergency situation. She recognized the emergent nature of the situation when she first encountered it and acted to obtain appropriate help. She kept track of massive blood loss in the O.R., while also communicating well with the rest of the team. She followed the patient to the ICU, and even helped the ventilated patient pump breastmilk for her critical baby! Carrie absolutely did a phenomenal job and gave her all to save this patient and her baby.
