Carrie welcomed my mother into her unit with a great disposition. My mother is battling two types of esophageal cancer and Carrie has been so pleasant and respectful. We are currently in the comfort care phase. We were so confused after talking to so many and Carrie took us all aside and explained everything that we had questions about concerning comfort (hospice) care. She explained the roles of the primary home caregiver as well as the hospice roles. She also took time to explain how the monitoring of oxygen and such works. But, above all that, she shared her own personal experience of her mother's illness, experiences with hospice and her passing. She shared not only the information we needed but shared herself, her compassion and honest caring. She is the epitome of "Above and Beyond" to our family. You are blessed to have such a gem! She is our DAISY!
