Our 12 year old came in to have her tonsils removed. She was very scared and terrified of getting an IV. Carrie was so calm and encouraging talking about her own family to put our daughter at ease. She stayed in the room just encouraging and talking to us always keeping a light atmosphere. She asked our daughter what she wanted to be and she replied, "a doctor". Carrie went on to encourage her by telling her own story of how she would pass out at the sight of blood but her fear turned around and she has been a nurse for 40+ years! She made our daughter's experience great and kept her calm and reassured. We could tell she loves what she does. We want to say thank you to her for all she does!
