Casandra Hebert, RN

From the second Cas came into the room, she was so kind and caring. She knew how scared my sister, A, was and how scared I was. She was there when they tried to extubate my sister. She was as happy as we were when the tube was coming out. I think she was just as sad and disappointed when they had to put it back in. She always told us what was being done to A and why. She never thought our questions were unimportant; she treated us and A with such compassion and care. Cas always told A what she was going to do. A has Cerebral Palsy, and Cas treated her like she was perfectly normal. It was a blessing to have such a sweet, caring, kind, and compassionate person to trust with my little sister.
