I was speaking with Casey about how I was really missing my family. The conversation we had and the time she took to listen made me feel so special and cared for. It made my time in the hospital much easier to bear. She probably went home not realizing what an effect she had on me. I believe this may be just another day doing what she does every day. I think this level of caring is what makes the difference in doing a job and truly caring. I am so thankful for her listening to me.
