Casey is the one person that if any of the staff can go to for assistance, and she is always ready to help. Even when she is busy with her own work, she will stop to lend a hand.

I have seen her sit down with a senior patient and help her access her MyChart on her cell phone for an extended period of time.

Another instance was when we had a homebound patient who is also a WellStar employee, who informed our office through MyChart that her previous Home Health Company went out of business and left her with no options to receive the required flu shot. The patient wanted our office to sign a flu exemption form, but Casey began working with the patient to find out that she did not really want the exemption but felt she had no choice.

Casey did not take no for an answer and began searching for alternative solutions. After time, she was able to find out an alternative option and called to set this up for the patient so that she could receive the flu shot as she wanted and secured this option for future resources.
