I was admitted to the hospital with a partial small bowel obstruction. I had just been diagnosed as diabetic. Casey assisted me with information on how to keep my bowel movements soft and regular. He left the room and soon returned with a booklet, "Living with Diabetes, Step by Step". He highlighted areas for me to pay attention to, symptoms, etc. This happened before I attended any classes. I can't tell you how helpful this was for me in dealing with a difficult condition. I truly realized how much The Kaiser Organization cares for me. Casey, especially, cared for my well-being even after I left his care. He went beyond what may be required of him as he took the time to go over the information.
