I had to have an esophageal manometry done. Casey looked at my nose and said how small it was; then she explained the procedure. It took her four tries to get the tube down to my stomach. I became sick to my stomach. Once the procedure was over and she tried to take the tube out, she had a hard time taking it out. She took her time pulling the tube out so I would not be in pain. She kept saying positive things to keep me calm and rubbed my back to calm me down.
This was a very traumatic procedure for me and Casey did everything possible to make it easyonme. She felt so badly that I had such a hard time. She came to see me and brought me a card and gave me a hug. If I ever had to go through something like that again, I would want her as my nurse.
