We were in the hospital to have a biopsy done on my husband. During our 3 day stay, Cassie came in and constantly kept in communication with us. She took such special care and went above and beyond. Made his bed when the techs didn’t do it. The communication between the Dr, her, and the patient was amazing. She kept us in the know and gave us continued updates. She was able to reach out to the doctors when we were waiting and we waited a lot. She made a stressful stay much more enjoyable with her wonderful sense of humor while meeting her obligations as a very busy nurse. She kept focused on all the care she provided while V was in the hospital. I’m so thankful for her caring spirit and heart, we felt like we mattered and you don’t always get that these days. Cassie is very deserving of this award and should be recognized, she has got spirit and compassion and we were blessed to have her as our nurse. She is touching so many with her smile, attitude, and compassion. Thank you Cassie! You are a special nurse!
