I was admitted to the hospital after having an emergency Ectopic pregnancy. Cassie was my assigned nurse. She was very pleasant and patient with me. She was assigned to several patients, but Cassie stopped and took time to listen to me. She listened to all my concerns about Ectopic pregnancy and worries. She helped me to put my questions and concerns on paper to discuss with my doctor. Cassie was part of my healing and recovery process by making me laugh and smile and helping me see hope in this tragic situation. I love her, she's a great nurse. I was pregnant with a beating heartbeat one day and the next day my womb was empty with no life. The last thing I needed was to be brushed to the side, or made to feel like my nurse was too busy to actually care for her patient. I believe that if we look up the word "care", we would see the word "Cassie" next to it because that's exactly how I felt, cared about and cared for!
