Cassandra Clark, RN, BSN

On 4pw, we have been caring for 2 brothers (twins) who are 25 years old and suffering from ALS. Their mother, a widow, who lost her husband to the same debilitating disease, cares for both of her sons with the love and patience of a Saint. She stays in the hospital with one or both 24/7 and does not stop fighting for her boys. She is an extraordinary person, and we all have grown to love this family. Chelsea Consolini and Cassandra Clark wanted to show “our saint” just how much we love, respect, and think of her as a hero. Together, they collected donations of books, slippers, neck pillows, lotions, self-care products, and gift cards. The donations were so great that they needed 2 baskets (both filled to the brim). They presented the baskets to Mrs I. with a heartfelt thank you and some tears. Mrs I. was overcome with emotion and so very grateful. She is making good use of her gifts. I am so proud of Chelsea and Cassandra for going above and beyond to take care of 2 VERY special patients and their Mother.
