Cassandra McCoy is truly a testament of what a nurse should be. My daughter, A, never let a single person love on her or touch her except Ms. Cassandra. She explained to A everything she was doing every day. She had her favorite movie and toys in her room daily. Ms. Cassandra painted her own nails A’s favorite colors. She would involve A in her treatment and made her feel like she was a part of what was going on. From cleaning her “buddy” to holding her B/P cuff. There are numbers of things she did. Coming to the playroom and getting A comfortable to go with her every day, never rushing her. She has extreme patience and deserves this award. I deeply care for this nurse, and she has just been a blessing to us and our family. We love you Ms. Cassandra and we’ll never ever forget you. God bless you.
