Cassie is very caring, warm, and very compassionate. Despite her very busy load that night, she stayed on top of things and always kept us informed of what was going on. My mom came from ICU the night before. All day she had pain behind her right eye. All day the nurses tried to ease the pain with what was available to them, but nothing worked. By night shift, pain relief. Cassie was a great advocate for my mom along with Ruth, the break relief nurse. Cassie notified the doctor and CT scan was done. CR was no change from prior so good news. Cassie consistently kept us informed of everything and kept great communication with the Dr. with the plan moving forward. I am an RN myself and know a good nurse when I see one. It's very humbling to be on the patient end of this. We were very lucky to have Cassie care for our mom.
