Cassandra Terry, BSN, RN, CCRN

Cassandra has exemplified excellence, integrity, and care with her care of a patient that she will be compassionately extubating. She went above and beyond to provide and exemplary care to this patient while also providing extraordinary support to their family. She has spent a great deal of time on the phone with family discussing their thoughts and feelings about what is happening with the loved one and what they can expect with this person's passing in the coming day. Cassandra's care of this patient and their family in the nights leading up to his compassionate extubation is an incredible example of the care and empathy that nurses can provide in difficult times.
