Cassy had the Beatles music playing all day and she brought in a handmade necklace that was a Buckeye necklace.
My husband was in the ICU for 5 days until he passed away. I miss him with all my heart.
Cassy was very kind, compassionate, empathetic, and sympathetic. She was wonderful. Cassy became like one of our family members. Cassy apparently overheard us talking to my husband about his love for the Beatles and an OSU Buckeye fan.
The day we decided to take my husband off the vent-Cassy had the Beatles music playing all day and she brought in a handmade necklace that was a Buckeye necklace. Cassy stayed with me and the family after my husband had passed, and Cassy came in and sat with me. She left a bit and gave me some time to be with my husband. She came back after her shift and sat with me a little longer to comfort me and be with me.
Cassy was a great comfort to myself and my family during this terrible and traumatic time in our lives. When your husband, father, uncle, or brother goes into the hospital by ambulance to the ER and then to the ICU-the outcome we went through and the news we received was not what any of us wanted or expected to hear.
Cassy was there with us and our angel and my husband’s angel during a horrible time. She took such wonderful care of my husband. Thank you Cassy-you are meant to be in the nursing field, you are truly an angel.
