Cassidy Schefelker, BSN, RN

We have a special needs son who is non-verbal, so understanding his needs, pertaining to his care, is a definite challenge. Having been diagnosed with pneumonia, we knew it would be a trying road to recovery. Cassidy S was T's day nurse for most of his stay. Because of her gentle nature and calming demeanor, she was able to persuade him to let her administer antibiotics and treatments that were necessary for his recovery.

T responds to kindness and patience, and Cassidy always attended to his needs, however challenging they may be, and he did not make it easy! She answered our questions, always took time to explain any changes, and just made the whole experience much easier to handle. We will forever be grateful for the care she provided T. Cassidy is an exceptional nurse and excellent at her job.
