Cassie was nominated by a family who is so grateful for Cassie's generosity. Cassie cared for this family's infant son, with multiple Congenital Heart Defects. The mother joked with Cassie that she had more pictures of the baby's inside than his outsied. The day before surgery on her day off, she came to the hospital and took pictures of the infant to give to the child's family. The mother writes that she so appreciates the only pictures she has of her precious boy without a scar on his chest.
