Cassie welcomed me and my husband with open arms and congratulated us.
This time last year I found out I was pregnant. At the first appointment, the ultrasound pointed to a miscarriage. When I met with my doctor, Cassie was my nurse. I was extremely devastated and I couldn’t have my husband with me at the appointment due to COVID-19. Cassie was more than caring and went above and beyond to comfort me, even allowing me to stay in the room with her as long as I needed. At my follow-up appointments, she continued to show so much caring, grace, and love for me as I grieved and healed.
Later, I found out I was pregnant again. I was anxious, nervous, and excited. I had some early bleeding and called the office. Cassie called me back quickly and attended to all of my needs, including scheduling me for an earlier appointment. At this appointment and ultrasound, Cassie welcomed me and my husband with open arms and congratulated us. She also told us that she had been praying for us ever since our miscarriage. That meant the world to us because we knew that she truly cared. At every following appointment, Cassie has been so positive, uplifting and a shining light to ease my anxiety. She has been a vital part of my physical and mental well-being throughout both of these pregnancies. Cassie is the epitome of a DAISY Award Honoree. I am honored to have been a patient of hers.
