February 2022 Honoree
Cassie M Tyczkowski, RN-BC
After being admitted from the ER to ICU for a high blood pressure event, it was my pleasure to be cared for by an RN named Cassie. She was comforting, considerate, and kind. Most importantly, she "listened" to me and understood that I really did understand my own condition. She was extremely helpful with her calm presence and insight. Since I needed to spend two nights in the hospital. For me, it is very important that my high blood pressure not cause panic in others and cause me more distress. For that, I thank Cassie for sharing a calm and human touch. She was wonderful and I truly appreciate her bedside manner and happy approach, with me and my condition.
Thank you, Cassie, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
