I came in to be seen because I was bleeding at home. I didn’t think anything severe was wrong, but I was told I was in pre-term labor. I became uncontrollably hysterical, but this nurse did everything in her power to reassure me. In the operating room, I became hysterical again. My husband was in the waiting room and I felt so alone. I heard everyone in the room reassuring me, but this nurse took complete charge and made me feel safer than ever in that moment. I asked her for a hug and she gave me one and I was able to pull myself together for the C-section. She was completely incredible from start to finish.
